As a data analyst, Annie collects and analyzes political data and ensures that Mothering Justice has a strong presence in the community with other organizations and Mamas. Annie has a B.A. in Gender and Women’s Studies and Legal Studies from Western Michigan University; her background is in political organization and mobilization. She was the Deputy Paid Canvass Director for Haley Stevens in M-11 before working as an organizer on a campaign for Queens District Attorney in NY. Annie’s passion is criminal justice reform; she worked as an intern on the Cooley Law School Innocence Project where she witnessed the exoneration of Ladura Watkins, a Detroit man who served 42 years for a crime he did not commit.
