Ashley Addrow-Pierson

Director of Project Management
As the Director of Project Management at Mothering Justice, Ashley Addrow-Pierson helps in driving change by leading signature events nationwide for the organization. Ashley also spearheads Digital Communications and Mothering Justice's work with the Congressional Mamas Caucus.

Courtney Blake Sims

Director of Field Organizing
Courtney Blake Sims has always felt compelled to lend a hand to those in need in her neighborhood. Her professional experience in field organizing was the source of inspiration for pursuing more organizing work. She is the proud mother to a 16-year-old daughter.

Rhonna-Rose Akama Makia
People and Culture Manager
Growing up as the child of West African immigrants in the American South, Rhonna-Rose has always been driven by a desire to connect with diverse communities and foster meaningful change. Based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business and brings over a decade of experience in leadership development and human resource management.

Aqeela Muntaqim

Deputy Director of Adminstration
As a mother of 4, Aqeela understands the hardships many parents face with poverty, lack of child care, and lack of adequate paid leave.

Dr. Keiondra J. Grace is the Director of Research at Mothering Justice, where she leads research that centers the voices of mothers of color.

Luanna Peterson

Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Luanna is an advocate for self-determination, an organizer, and a popular educator. She is the co-founder of Weaving Our Stories, a Hawai’i-rooted abolitionist program focused on storytelling as a means of liberation. She is also an inaugural Peace Studio Fellow.

Arianna Parker

Senior Digital Organizer
Arianna is a graduate from Michigan State University with her B.A. in Advertising and a minor in Sales Leadership. In her role, she utilizes digital tools to highlight the Mothering Justice brand and bring awareness to many policy campaigns.

As Grassroots Director, Nkenge works to ensure Mothering Justice has informed community impact. Nkenge has an extensive background in community organizing.

Nicole, the owner of WhitlowBanks LLC, offers her expertise in administrative support services.
